Overview
The Institute for Critical Care Medicine (ICCM) was established to advance the quality and coordination of critical care at Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH). Today, ICCM oversees the delivery of critical care services in 17 intensive care units across 6 sites within the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS). In addition, ICCM provides essential support services to patients and clinical teams across both inpatient and outpatient settings. As a Clinical Program Manager, you will join a collaborative team and work closely with clinical providers, administrative staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations across critical departments. In this role, you will support the administration and daily operations of three key areas at Mount Sinai Hospital: Rapid Response Team, Vascular Access Service, and the Critical-Care Nursing Float Pool. The Rapid Response Team (RRT) provides 24/7 coverage, supporting clinical teams in evaluating, treating, and triaging critically ill patients. The RRT includes intensive care physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other clinicians, ensuring timely, expert care. The Vascular Access Service (VAS) consists of physicians, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses specializing in the insertion and management of vascular access devices in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Through expert consultation, VAS enhances efficiency, improves care quality, and positively impacts patient experience. Within the Department of Nursing, the Critical-Care Float Pool provides experienced critical-care nurses resources to units throughout the hospital in response to fluctuations in census, staffing requirements, and patient acuity. This position is full-time and scheduled onsite during regular business hours at the Mount Sinai Hospital Campus, located in the Upper East Side of New York City.
