Our client is seeking a highly qualified
Logistics Manager III
to support operations at Hanscom AFB. This role is positioned within the
Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) , which is responsible for acquiring, fielding, and sustaining networks, integrated information systems, enterprise services, and applications supporting the
Global Information Grid (GIG)
capabilities. These systems enable communication among land, naval, air, and space forces, and support global net-centric operations. The ideal candidate must possess:
An
active Secret Security Clearance 12+ years
of directly relevant logistics management experience, including
5+ years within the Department of Defense (DoD) - OR - A
Bachelor's degree
and
8+ years
of relevant experience, with at least
4 years in the DoD
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Logistics Manager, you will support the Government Program Manager by providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) across a wide range of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tasks for the Ground-Based Space Radar portfolio. Duties include:
Planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistics operations required to support mission-critical systems or programs. Identifying requirements for funding, Client, materials, facilities, and services to support the program. Providing analytical support for logistics metrics (e.g., supply, reliability, maintainability) and presenting data during key reviews. Applying knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle and product support planning across all program phases. Conducting Logistics Health Assessments (LHA) and utilizing the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook. Preparing, maintaining, and coordinating
Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs)
and related logistics documentation. Reviewing and contributing to system design documentation, including TRDs, CDDs, CPDs, ICDs, and specifications. Participating in and supporting logistics input at
Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) , design reviews, provisioning conferences, and IPTs. Reviewing and revising product support documents including RM&A reports, provisioning analyses, technical orders, and drawings. Contributing to planning for maintenance activities, system upgrades/modifications, and studies in collaboration with contractor logistics support and integrators. Providing logistics insight and recommendations during acquisition planning. Supporting both
CONUS and OCONUS
travel as directed by the government. Performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Clearance:
Active Secret Security Clearance (mandatory). Experience:
12+ years in logistics management, including 5+ years in DoD OR Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, including 4+ years in DoD. Proven experience supporting ILS within DoD acquisition programs. Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills. General knowledge of
DoD Space Operations and Space Systems.
