Kemper Kemper is seeking a talented Senior Manager, Data & Analytics to join our Assurance & Advisory Services (A&A) team. You will be responsible for leading multiple strategic analytics and automation initiatives, driving innovation, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation. Partnering with A&A and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights and scalable solutions that strengthen the governance and control environment. Overseeing a team of data analytics professionals and serves as a consultative advisor on control automation and analytics enablement. This position is not remote, can be located in one of our offices in Chicago, IL; St. Louis, MO; Birmingham, AL; Dallas, TX; McAllen, TX - hybrid schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include leading and developing individuals, defining and evolving the A&A analytics roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate controls and dashboards, managing multiple projects, reviewing analytic work products, interpreting data and analyzing trends, establishing partnerships with business leaders, championing innovation with advanced analytics, RPA, and AI/ML solutions, and staying informed on industry developments and regulatory trends. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred), coursework or certifications in AI, ML, or automation tools a plus, 8+ years of experience in audit, data analytics, or related field, 2+ years of leadership experience, preferred background in Financial Services or Insurance, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with data modeling and analytics tools, and preferred certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CFA, or equivalent. Physical requirements include ability to travel up to 25% of the time. The position offers a salary range of $95,900-159,700, eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc. Kemper is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
