About the job Decision Support Analyst
As a Remote Decision Support Analyst, you will provide data-driven insights and analytical support to help business leaders make informed strategic and operational decisions. You will collect, analyze, and synthesize financial, clinical, customer, or operational data (depending on industry) to evaluate business performance, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Working closely with executives, finance, operations, and technology teams, you'll translate data into actionable recommendations and contribute to initiatives that drive efficiency, cost savings, and business growth.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze financial, operational, and/or customer data to support decision-making
Develop models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Conduct scenario planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business questions and deliver insights
Translate complex data into clear recommendations and visualizations for senior leadership
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop performance benchmarks
Provide input into strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
Support ad hoc analyses related to revenue, cost efficiency, utilization, or profitabilitQualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or decision support
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical audiences
Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
