Information-Database Administrator
is to provide direction and supervision for data schema and database setup to support Business Applications. This includes establishing processes for disaster recovery, database backups, performance optimization, and ensuring standards are followed. The role also involves oversight of data architecture projects and collaboration with application architects to align data architecture, Master Data Management initiatives, and application architecture. This is a unique opportunity to join a small team and make a significant impact across different areas of the business as it rapidly advances to meet customer demand. As a key team member, you will greatly influence our products success. What Youll Be Responsible For Analyze business requirements to determine feasibility and produce technical specifications. Participate throughout the project lifecycle to ensure design conformance, data architectural compliance, and infrastructure readiness. Collaborate with Integration and Application Architects to ensure architecture alignment with BI/DW strategies and solution requirements. Manage system and performance testing, infrastructure planning, and implementation. Serve as Database Administrator, Data Architect, or Developer as needed, including database setup, schema design, tuning, and optimization. Apply general consulting skills such as team facilitation and business case development. Maintain personal accountability for customer and team success.
Expected Skills/Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; Masters preferred. At least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator with business continuity expertise. Over 5 years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.). At least 3 years working on database tuning, data access optimization, and Master Data Management projects. Extensive experience in data warehousing design and methodologies. Deep expertise in SQL Server RDBMS and related services. Knowledge of Big Data architectures and in-memory solutions. Proficiency in SQL Server query language and schema design. Experience supporting multitenant applications, data migration, and backup/recovery strategies. Relevant experience in healthcare solutions, particularly Asset and Inventory Management.
