Canton, GA
headquarters for a results driven, experienced and strategic
Assistant Controller of Revenue and Receipts
to lead revenue operations, oversee collections, and manage cash flow initiatives across 20 operating divisions. This strategic role requires a leader who can think beyond debits and credits and actively influence the business to prioritize cash flow, liquidity, and compliance. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of the organization.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced finance leader with a strong construction background and a passion for process improvement and operational excellence.
This position carries a salary range of $125,000 to $ 150,000 depending on experience.

Our depth of clients expertise ranges from the grocery industry to big box retail as well as both state and Federal government projects in military and healthcare.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the invoicing and collections functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. Oversee and coordinate with 20 operating divisions to maximize revenue capture and improve cash flow performance. Analyze and reduce under-billed revenue and aged receivables through proactive management and coordination. Directly manage and mentor a team of eight finance professionals. Maintain visibility over cash positions and liquidity, ensuring financial health and timely reporting. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to revenue recognition, billing, and collections. Collaborate with operational leaders to instill a cash-conscious culture throughout the organization. Improve and standardize revenue-related processes, identifying areas for automation and system enhancement. Drive adoption of best practices in construction project accounting systems, such as Procore. Prepare and present executive-level reporting on collections, AR aging, cash metrics, and forecasting
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within the construction industry. Proven experience managing high-volume invoicing and collections across complex business units. Strong knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, and project billing cycles. Experience with construction project management software, including Procore and ideally Acumatica-related experience as that is a major plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments and with all levels of staff. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and drive for continuous improvement.
