This is a critical leadership role where technical expertise meets strategic execution.
You'll lead a group of talented project managers and supervise our Applications Department-owning project delivery, pre-sales technical strategy, and team performance across a highly profitable, fast-paced operation. With full P&L responsibility, your impact will drive company growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Team Leadership & Operational Oversight Lead and coach a team of Project Managers and the Applications Supervisor-ensuring alignment between pre-sales scoping and post-sale execution. Champion a collaborative, performance-driven culture that delivers excellence across every customer touchpoint. Set clear goals for profitability, utilization, and delivery, and drive accountability across the team.
Customer Satisfaction & Project Excellence Ensure projects are scoped accurately, delivered on time, and exceed customer expectations. Maintain rigorous QA processes and elevate system-level testing and validation prior to delivery. Act as the go-to for escalation and resolution of complex project or customer challenges.
Strategic Alignment & Growth Drive coordination between engineering, sales, and field teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and consistent execution. Evaluate risk, approve proposals, and oversee schedules and resource plans across the project lifecycle. Help shape solution development, pricing, and execution strategy alongside business development.
Talent Development & Culture Building Mentor and develop team members, providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and career growth opportunities. Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional knowledge sharing. Build a strong culture of safety, accountability, and professional development.
Business Impact Own department P&L-ensuring margin performance, timely billing, and financial health. Support strategic sales planning and customer expansion efforts by aligning internal capacity with high-value opportunities. Equip the Applications team to deliver accurate technical estimates and winning proposals.

What We're Looking For:
5-10+ years of experience in industrial automation project management; 3+ years leading high-performing teams Deep knowledge of automation hardware, control systems, and industrial processes Proven ability to lead across technical sales and project delivery environments Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field Excellent communicator and strategic thinker who thrives on building relationships across departments and with clients Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and PM tools Commitment to safety, integrity, and fostering a culture of excellence
