Job Title: Project Manager Commercial Glazing

Location: Newark, NJ

Company Overview:

We are working alongside a leading commercial glazing contractor specializing in high-quality faade systems, including curtain wall, window wall, and punch window installations. With a strong pipeline of projects in the Newark area and beyond, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with proven experience in the commercial glazing industry. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of commercial glass and faade projects from award through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Strong ability to interpret CAD drawings and coordinate with internal teams, general contractors, and vendors is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage commercial glazing projects ranging from $1M to $7M in value.
• Coordinate with estimators, engineers, drafters, fabricators, installers, and clients.
• Interpret and review CAD shop drawings, architectural and structural plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, submittals, RFIs, and procurement logs.
• Ensure material and manpower resources are allocated properly and efficiently.
• Lead regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor and control project costs, change orders, and billing milestones.
• Ensure safety standards and quality control are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage punch lists, project closeout documentation, and turnover packages.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of project management experience in the commercial glazing industry .
• Proven experience with punch windows, curtain wall, window wall systems .
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, materials procurement, and logistics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software a plus.
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (but not required).
