What You'll Own Project Engineering, Execution & Financial Management Manage multiple glazing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Monitor and control project budgets, tracking costs against estimates and identifying variances early
Calculate and allocate labor requirements for each phase of installation
Maintain detailed financial records and provide regular budget reports to leadership
Maintain project set up and organization using physical filing and project management software
Manage procurement with responsibility for accuracy and ensuring materials are properly ordered for each project
Technical Systems & Coordination Navigate storefront systems, tenant improvement glazing, and high-end residential glass applications
Understand glass types, sealants, fasteners, and structural components for proper specification across commercial and residential projects
Know which sealant applications work best for specific project requirements and conditions
Research technical specifications and installation requirements for unfamiliar systems or components
Coordinate with client-side project managers and superintendents to align schedules and resolve field issues
Strategic Problem-Solving & Communication Identify technical challenges early and develop practical solutions using critical thinking
Know exactly who to contact for specific information—whether it's architects for design clarification, suppliers for product specs, or field crews for installation feedback
Build and maintain key relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and design teams
Make independent decisions on project adjustments while keeping stakeholders informed
Who You Are The Professional 5+ years of project management experience specifically in storefront, tenant improvement, or high-end residential glazing
Deep knowledge of storefront systems, residential glass applications, sealants, and installation methods
Proven ability to manage project budgets, track costs, and calculate labor requirements accurately
Experience working directly with general contractor project managers and superintendents
Track record of researching technical specifications and sourcing accurate information independently
