HVAC/Mechanical Project Manager (Travel)
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing HVAC mechanical projects, with at least 5 - 10 years of experience being a significant advantage. While experience in modular construction is not required, it is considered a valuable asset. This role requires the ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee HVAC mechanical projects from planning through execution and completion, ensuring all project objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, addressing their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. Develop and manage detailed project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to stay on track. Implement strict quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications. Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and thoroughness in all project aspects. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any changes to project scope. Excellent analytical skills for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the HVAC mechanical sector is highly desirable. Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel to various project sites as required. Bonus:
Experience in modular construction is a significant plus.
