Due to growth, we seek an experienced Project Manager with field expertise and strong knowledge of electric power systems, based out of our Kansas City office. Shermco Industries is accredited by NETA and is the largest independent electrical testing company in North America. Responsibilities
Work safely by following documented company and client safe work practices. Manage electrical testing and commissioning projects from start to finish. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, tracking milestones. Coordinate resources and acceptance testing activities with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Oversee and perform NETA Acceptance Testing and electrical commissioning per specifications. Provide leadership and training to project team members. Ensure complete, accurate project documentation is distributed to stakeholders. Identify and mitigate project risks. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Qualifications
Associate degree in Electrical Power & Controls or EE Degree; military experience in relevant fields is also acceptable. NETA III, NICET Certification, or Electrician license preferred but not required. At least 5 years of relevant electrical testing and troubleshooting experience. Proficiency with email, data entry, Microsoft Excel; PowerDB experience is a plus. Ability to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures. Training in OSHA 10/30, MSHA, NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED preferred; Shermco can provide training. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally and overnight periodically. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Other Requirements
Pass pre-employment and periodic drug tests. Pass criminal background check. Physical ability to crawl, climb, stand, and lift up to 100 lbs. Pass fit-for-duty physical exam. Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Willing to travel at least 25%. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Salary range: USD $90,000 - $166,200 per year. Additional Details
