Chicago, IL | Full-Time A leading commercial general contractor and construction management firm based in Chicago, IL, is seeking one or two dynamic Project Managers to join their growing team. Since their founding in 2008, they’ve built a reputation for simplifying complex construction projects while delivering exceptional craftsmanship. They leverage experienced teams, proven processes, and cutting-edge technology to execute projects across retail, industrial, hospitality, mixed-use, multi-family residential, healthcare, senior living, institutional, and education sectors. As a certified Minority-Owned Business, they're committed to diversity and excellence. This firm is expanding their headcount and targeting larger projects, aiming to grow from their current $3M average project size to a $5M–$15M sweet spot in the coming years, with their largest project to date at $11M. This is an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurial, adaptable professionals to join a firm on the rise and make an immediate impact. What You’ll Do: Manage 2–3 projects simultaneously (ranging from $3M–$11M), overseeing all phases from preconstruction to closeout. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Utilize the latest construction technology and processes to streamline project execution. Contribute to our growth by taking on diverse and increasingly complex projects across multiple sectors. Work closely with our leadership and project teams to drive success. What We’re Looking For: An entrepreneurial mindset with openness to new projects, technologies, and innovative approaches. Ideally, a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (equivalent experience considered). Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, though a more junior profile with a strong foundation in project management is preferred. Comfortable managing multiple projects and adapting to diverse project types (retail, industrial, hospitality, etc.). Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Why Join Us?
