Our Evansville location is looking for a
Project Manager
to join the System Integration team !
Coordinate System Integration projects, as well as large Field Service and Field Engineering projects. Provide detailed updates to the service project lead, managers, administrators, and director. Ensure accurate financial tracking for budgets, Invoicing, and materials. Track all aspects of repair, installation, and removal of complex electromechanical motors and equipment for projects.
Essential Functions:
o Schedule and prioritize work within the department to ensure a well-orchestrated workflow for quality workmanship and to meet customer needs and deadlines.
o Communicate with regional managers and project engineers, department leads, and admin on a regular basis to ensure a well-focused and ran service.
o Working closely and cooperatively with project leads to achieve established goals and promote a team driven environment.
o Effectively managing budgets by comparing quoted projects vs. purchase order costs to ensure financial cost is controlled to prevents unexpected expenses and keeps all projects within financial targets. purchase of materials and equipment for each project to ensure an efficient and effective workflow is completed.
o Verify that proper paperwork and procedures are being followed and that workflows are efficient and exceeding expectations
o Ensure materials are ordered as needed according to departmental guidelines.
o Provide to any documentation to project leads, that are required by customer such as project schedule, test results, inspection plan, updated Gant charts etc.
o Maintain current knowledge on materials, technology, and processes.
o Assist with improving and developing new processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
o Be present and available for strategizing project delays.
o Serve as the bridge between technical teams, management, and Customers, provide status updates through reports, dashboards, and meetings, Assist with technical details into business-oriented insights.
o Monitor quality measurements, analyze the data, and suggest ways quality can be improved.
o Ensure projects are planned proficiently, and all tools, equipment and materials are planned effectively for each project.
o Ensure that all completed work meets FLANDERS' Standards and complies with FLANDERS' ISO Quality System.
o Identify and assist with training needs.
o Assist managers, foreman's and project leads with scheduling.
o Maintain employee records for the required project matrix as needed, Track re-work and warranty documentation.
o Communicate clearly, concisely, and with accuracy to employees, customers, and vendors.
o Foster good employee/management relations.
o Promote teamwork by fostering partnerships with key departments.
Requirements
•
Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent.
•
Experience:
o Five years' hands-on experience with managing projects or planning. Which includes managing project documentation, specification of blueprints, industry standards, and understanding software requirements for each project.
o Must have experience in Electrical and Mechanical theory.
o Two years' leadership experience or in a lead technician role.
o Two years of hands-on experience with excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Projects/Gant.

o Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages.

o Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to non-routine duties within company standards.
o Frequent travel including overnight required.
