Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT projects in the banking domain, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with banking business goals and compliance requirements.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Identify project risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and documentation specific to the banking industry.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar certification is highly recommended.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the banking or financial services domain.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects within the banking industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and IT governance.
