PracticeLink . The VA Northern California Health Care System (NCHCS) is recruiting full-time, board eligible/board certified psychiatrists for the General Mental Health (GMH) team at the
Chico VA Outpatient Clinic . Responsibilities include reviewing medical and mental health assessments, developing diagnoses and treatment plans, managing medications, facilitating support groups, and providing crisis intervention and medical clearance for psychiatric hospitalizations. 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Alternate duties may include evenings and weekends. On-Call Duties
Weeknight and weekend call for the Behavioral Health Intensive Care Unit (Sacramento VA) or the Joint Inpatient Mental Health Unit (Travis AFB). Rotations last one week, may be from home, and include evaluating admissions, emergent consults, and inpatient rounds. On-call frequency is approximately three to five times per year. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Salary and Benefits
Salary: $280,000 - $320,000/year Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays Malpractice coverage with tail Performance pay, CME leave and stipends Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200,000) Additional Information
