Virtus Healthcare Staffing is supporting the recruitment efforts for an open
Mental Health Therapist
position at a leading correctional healthcare facility in
California City, CA .
This is a
full-time onsite
role where you will serve as the Mental Health Coordinator, providing vital behavioral health services in a secure and structured environment.
Requirements:
Master's degree from an accredited program in
Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling , or a related clinical field. Active licensure in California as an
LPC, LCSW, LMFT , or equivalent. Minimum of
five (5) years of clinical experience , including at least
two (2) years in a comparable role . Valid driver's license preferred. Must be
at least 18 years old . Strong skills in crisis intervention, therapeutic assessment, and treatment planning. Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism in a correctional setting. Why Join?

$110,000 - $130,000 , based on experience. Comprehensive

Collaborate with correctional staff, medical providers, and external agencies as needed. Promote a therapeutic environment while maintaining facility safety and security standards. Uphold ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
