Test Automation Lead- Electronic Trading
Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of derivatives trading. Unique opportunity to join a pioneering fintech startup revolutionizing the trading of global derivatives, swaps and options through an innovative electronic execution venue. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a test automation strategy for a leading Fixed Income Electronic Trading company in the global interest rate swaps and options markets.
In this hands-on player-coach role, you will be responsible for: Defining the test automation vision and roadmap for the company. Selecting and implementing a test automation platform. Developing and executing automated tests for the trading system. Creating stability and performance testing scripts. Implementing test-driven development (TDD) methodologies for new features and functionalities. Integrating seamlessly into the software development lifecycle and contributing to the successful delivery of new features. Ensuring the quality, reliability, and resiliency of new software releases. Recruiting, training, and leading a team of test automation engineers. Experience
5+ years of experience as a test automation engineer or a developer of tests for a leading electronic trading company. 5+ years of experience testing trading applications in financial markets (fixed income, equities, FX). 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers. Prior startup experience is a plus. Hands-on scripting experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology (required). Electronic trading experience, ideally with a global fixed income industry company. Master's degree or MBA (a plus). Strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to partner across all levels of seniority including the "C Suite". Base salary range: $170K-$195K
