Location: Onsite Farmington Hills, MI | Department: Engineering | Job Type: Full Time Overview Netarx is seeking a driven and technically skilled Quality Assurance Developer to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about software quality, test automation, and building scalable QA solutions. As a QA Developer, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-performing, secure, and reliable software by designing and implementing cutting-edge testing strategies. You’ll work closely with Software Engineers and Sales Engineers to understand functional and technical requirements and ensure that our products meet and exceed industry standards. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium , Katalon , or TestNG . Build and maintain CI/CD-integrated automated test pipelines using platforms like Jenkins , GitHub Actions , or Azure DevOps . Develop and execute API testing using Postman , REST Assured , or SoapUI . Create and manage test cases, bugs, and reports within Jira , Xray , or other test management tools. Perform cross-browser and mobile web testing using tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs . Write and maintain test data generation scripts using Python, Java, or JavaScript. Conduct performance testing using JMeter , LoadRunner , or similar tools. Collaborate with Sales Engineers to replicate customer environments and scenarios for pre-sales and post-sales support. Perform code reviews of test automation to ensure quality and consistency. Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring 3+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on automation. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Katalon Studio, or Cypress. Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Java , Python , or JavaScript . Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Familiarity with API testing , SQL for data validation, and test mocking tools . Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail. Solid understanding of SDLC , Agile methodologies , and QA best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., Sales Engineers). Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite. Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) using Cucumber or SpecFlow. Why Netarx?
