Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician (Locums) Near Defiance, OH ASAP - Ongoing Job ID: j-236876 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician for a locum tenens opportunity at our outpatient clinic located within a hospital near Defiance, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care to high-risk pregnant women while enjoying the flexibility of locum tenens work. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive MFM services, including specialized ultrasounds, genetic counseling, and management of high-risk pregnancies. Perform a variety of specialized ultrasound procedures to assess fetal well-being and diagnose potential complications. Manage high-risk pregnancies, including those with pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, multiple gestations, and fetal anomalies. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as obstetricians, neonatologists, and pediatricians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Outpatient clinic setting within a hospital environment. Busy practice with an average of 40 ultrasounds and 5 consultations per day. Sole MFM physician in the practice during the locum tenens coverage period. Onsite laboratory and ultrasound services available for your convenience. Level III nursery on-site for advanced neonatal care. Utilize the EPIC/AS Ultrasound Software for efficient documentation. Located within a Level I trauma center. Requirements: Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Active or ability to obtain Ohio medical license. AIUM Ultrasound Certification. Proven expertise in specialized ultrasounds, genetic counseling, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
