Position Summary: The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool works under the Director's supervision, delivering compassionate care and developing individualized nursing plans. This role includes performing designated procedures within the Iowa State Board of Nursing's scope of practice. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current unencumbered RN license in Iowa or a Compact State. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six (6) months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six (6) months of hire. Recent RN experience. Preferred Qualifications: At least one (1) year of rehabilitation nursing experience. At least one (1) year of experience in Medical/Surgical or Critical Care nursing. At least one (1) year of Emergency Room experience.
