About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care, ventilator management, and responding to medical emergencies . This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to provide life-saving care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
* Monitor and assess vital signs, ventilator settings, and artificial airways
* Deliver timely updates to physicians, patients, and families on treatment progress
* Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and changes in patient conditions
* Administer medications, IV therapy, and life-saving interventions
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
* Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols
Qualifications:
* Active RN License in CA (Required)
* BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
* PALS or NIHSS Certification (Preferred)
* Minimum 1-2 years of ICU experience (Required)
* Proficiency in ventilator management and critical care interventions
* EPIC or other EMR experience (Preferred)
