Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/18/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job title : RN - NICU Location :Washington,DC Shift : 3 x 12s night shift Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $ 2,624.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $ 720.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable):$ 1,904.00 Per Week Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Level III NICU Registered Nurses to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidates will have the clinical expertise to care for critically ill neonates, including micro-preemies, and be proficient with advanced therapies such as mechanical ventilation, high-frequency oscillation, and the use of vasopressors. Nurses will be expected to respond to neonatal emergencies, attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections, and provide comprehensive, family-centered care. Minimum Requirements: Licensure: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state/district of employment – Required Certifications:
BLS – Required NRP – Required STABLE – Required
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years Level III NICU experience – Required 3+ years preferred with experience managing vents, pressors, HFOV (oscillators), and nitric oxide therapy Proficiency with care of neonates as early as 23 weeks gestation
Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based care to critically ill neonates, including:
Premature infants Neonatal sepsis Respiratory distress syndrome Hypoglycemia Congenital anomalies Meconium aspiration Neonatal seizures
