Scope of Responsibility
Radiologic Technologists are responsible for producing quality images utilizing proper positioning skills meanwhile ensuring patient safety and comfort during examinations.
Responsible to Operations Director
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent Complete/Pass a C.A.H.E.A. approved Radiologic Technology program that provides an Associate Degree or a 2 year certificate in an accredited school of Radiological Sciences
Training and Experience
Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency: LMRT CV, LMRT-Skull, LMRT Spine, LMRT Extremities Required or must be ARRT registered or registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates may be conditionally employed as long as the test is taken and passed within the first year of employment Must be an MRT in good standing licensed by the Texas Medical Board Must obtain and maintain ARRT and MRT registries, to include required CME Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred Must obtain and maintain current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
