Job Summary Raymond James Global Wealth Solutions (GWS) provides a leading platform delivering customized planning and investment solutions, investment thought leadership, and strategy. GWS offers comprehensive solutions within every wealth demographic via Investment Strategy, Wealth Planning, Investment Solutions, Insurance Solutions , Capital Markets, Institutional Fiduciary Solutions, and Private Institutional Client s (PIC) to more than Raymond James 8,000 Financial Advisors . This role will be supporting one of the various business units in GWS based off needs of the organization ranging from Alternative Investments, Structured Investments, Wealth Planning, PIC, Mutual Funds, IFS, and more . Under general supervision, uses skills gained through training and experience to provide support for GWS . Follows established procedures to perform routine tasks and assists on assigned projects. Follows established procedures to perform tasks and receives general guidance and direction to perform other work with substantial variety and varied complexity. Some judgment is required to adapt procedures, processes, and techniques to apply to more complex assignments. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to Management . Routine contact with internal and external partners may be required to obtain, clarify, or provide facts and information. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Through training and educational sessions, gain knowledge and understanding of the assigned GWS business unit to support business functions.
Engage with platform stakeholders including Financial Advisors, external partners, and other Raymond James Home Office departments.
Builds project plans for assigned projects based on resource estimates, timelines, budget , and other financial information.
Analyzes and summarizes project data and disseminates outcomes to appropriate parties .
Use reporting and performance indicators to propose and/or assist with improvement initiatives.
Extracts and interprets information and evaluates market data most pertinent to the business unit.
Independently researches and recommends solutions to complex problems.
Cultivate a network of resources within the Firm upon which to call for assistance .
Perform special projects as assigned and at the direction of Management , utilize project management skills to manage and reports back on project status.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Operates standard office equipment and uses required software applications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of
Fundamental investment concepts, practices , and procedures of securities industry and/or banking .
Base understanding of financial markets and products.
Existing, or ability to quickly acquire , knowledge required to support GWS platform.
All MS Office applications including an ability to work with more advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and formulas.
Skill in Preparing oral and/or written reports .
Problem solving and time management.
Making rule-based and analytical decisions .
Strong interpersonal, written , and verbal communication skills.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.
Analytical skills with the ability to solve problems, analyze data , and execute on solutions.
Organizing and scheduling work to meet business unit requirements and project deadlines.
Cultural competency and the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with both individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds
Ability to Represent GWS in a highly professional manner .

Education/ Previous Experience Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in a related field
Previous internship or co-op program experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications None required : SIE Strongly encouraged to achieve in the role.

Associates may qualify for reimbursement for pre-approved licenses or certifications in the role .
