Functional Analyst - Lead We are seeking a Functional Analyst, Lead, to join our team at Langley AFB, VA. This role supports SOI's Expeditionary Contingency Medical Materiel (ECMM) Support Services contract, reinforcing SOI's position as an industry leader in supporting the operational and IT needs of the federal logistics community.
What You'll Get to Do :
Serve as a medical readiness Global Force Manager and Planner for Air Combat Command (ACC).
Coordinate Air Force medical support and deployment requirements with Combatant Commands, Major Commands, HQ Air Force (HAF), Air Force Personnel Center, and 11 ACC bases.
Utilize Air Force Generation (AFFORGEN) concept to posture, track, and source personnel for deployment as the Air Force provider of ground medical conventional forces.
Ensure adherence to HAF Medical Resource Letter (MRL) and update Medical Readiness Decision Support System (MRDSS) as needed.
Verify deployment taskings, research and complete reclamas, and update unit identifier code (UIC).
Prepare Force Readiness Reporting (FRR) reports for the ACC Command Surgeon.
Generate reports and charts for the ACC Director of Medical Readiness and Command Surgeon.
Provide guidance on instructions, policies, and doctrine.
Participate in staff assistance and readiness mentorship visits to evaluate medical readiness programs.
More About the Role : You will play a key role in supporting SOI's mission as a Functional Analyst Lead, focusing on medical readiness operations support.
Education and Experience :
Minimum of ten years of specialized Air Force Medical experience in medical readiness planning, doctrine, ECMM manpower, and training.
Proven experience working with military teams at Major Command or Headquarters levels.
Knowledge of medical aspects related to AF planning systems and MRA/Pilot Unit processes.
Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.
Must hold and maintain a Secret Clearance.
