Brunswick County Schedule: Monday-Friday Coastal Horizons is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Court Coordinator to manage the daily operations of our Mental Health and WOW Courts. This vital role coordinates participants, court staff, and treatment providers, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting individuals in recovery. Position Highlights
About Brunswick Treatment Courts Brunswick Treatment Courts offers comprehensive, court-supervised treatment for individuals in the justice system. Our Mental Health Court and Women of Wellness (WOW) Court address the unique needs of participants with mental health and/or substance use disorders, aiming for lasting recovery and community reintegration. Case Management & Monitoring: Maintain participant files, track compliance, prepare court documents, and assist the Judge during sessions. Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a liaison among participants, the judiciary, treatment providers, and community partners. Administrative Support: Manage databases, generate reports, and provide general administrative assistance. Participant Support: Offer empathetic support and connect participants with essential community resources. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or a closely related field. Two (2) years of experience in a court, social services, or case management setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently. Valid North Carolina Driver's License. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice), preferred but not required. Experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Knowledge of treatment court models and best practices. Salary & Benefits
