Position Summary: The Regional Nurse Consultant of Acquisitions plays a key role in supporting clinical integration during the pre-purchase due diligence and short-term post-acquisition phases of new or prospective skilled nursing facilities. The position ensures compliance with standards and quality care expectations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct on-site clinical assessments of potential acquisitions. Collaborate with teams during due diligence. Identify risks and improvement opportunities. Support onboarding and integration of new facilities. Provide support during the transition period. Assist in recruiting and onboarding clinical leadership. Develop and implement action plans for clinical concerns. Train staff on standards and compliance. Monitor clinical performance metrics. Partner with departments for smooth transitions. Prepare reports for leadership. Work independently and collaboratively to solve problems. Respond professionally in stressful situations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; Master’s preferred. Active Multi-State or Compact Nursing License. At least 5 years in skilled nursing or long-term care, with 2+ years in a multi-site or consulting role. Experience with acquisitions or transitions preferred. Knowledge of federal and state regulations. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to travel frequently. Strategic thinking and risk mitigation skills. Problem-solving and self-starting capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new platforms.
