Job Description The Registration Representative performs data entry and registration functions for outpatient departments. Responsibilities include collecting patient demographic and insurance data, utilizing technology to quote and collect patient liabilities, and following all registration policies. The role involves arranging patient admissions, providing high-quality customer service, and enhancing the hospital experience through hospitality and concierge services.
Responsibilities
Greets all patients/visitors entering the facility.
Completes registrations accurately and promptly.
Obtains insurance information from patients.
Distributes necessary handouts to patients or representatives.
Maintains forms and operates software and hardware equipment.
May work at different locations as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Minimum 6 months relevant revenue cycle or customer service experience required.
Additional Notes Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts.
