Part-Time Faculty - CPD School Bus Driver Instructor
Teaching School Bus Driving Instruction.
Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to safely operate a school bus.
- Ability to teach behind-the-wheel training to prospective drivers using a variety of teaching methods.
- Ability to deliver school bus driver training (Class A, Class B, and Special Needs) to adult learners using a variety of teaching methods.
- Knowledge of the Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining to commercial drivers.
- Must have three (3) years' work experience as a certified school bus driver.
- Must have a valid and clear Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
