Description
As a Senior Sterling OMS Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Sterling Order Management System (OMS) while leveraging Azure cloud platform. Your primary focus will be on customizing and integrating the Sterling OMS with various enterprise systems and external applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those applications. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
• Performs analysis, research, and resolution of production program problems. Maintains, debugs, and modifies programs. Utilizes techniques for the successive phases of problem analysis.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data used in program development to meet defined user requirements. Prepares detailed specifications for programs of difficult complexity, prepares development time estimates for assigned tasks and responsible for meeting those estimates.
• Updates and creates technical and user documentation.
• Codes programs of difficult complexity, using recommended technologies, following established methodologies and standards.
• Creates test data to execute all functions of coded programs and performs integrated testing of all components.
• Coordinates between IT areas to maintain maximum efficiency of application systems and collaborates with users to obtain feedback on effectiveness of system.
• Works with users to improve their understanding, operating, or interdependencies/interrelationships for systems.
• Organizes, directs, and assists programming efforts of others as needed.
• Ensures standards and methodologies are followed and quality assurance review is met.
Qualification:
• 10+ years programming/analysis experience in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with Sterling Call Center and its customization is highly desirable.
• Experience with Azure, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure SQL Database.
• Understanding of e-commerce concepts, supply chain management, and order fulfillment processes.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies, including Spring Framework, Servlets, JSP, and RESTful services.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) for data manipulation and integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Bamboo for continuous integration and deployment is a plus.
• Experience with Azure Fabric.
• Experience with SOAP
• Experience with Salesforce
• Relevant certifications in Sterling OMS, Azure, Java, or related technologies are a plus.
