Job Description As a product security engineer, you will play a key role in evaluating, supporting, managing, and implementing cybersecurity measures for HVAC control and communication systems at Bosch Home Comfort North America. You will have experience in designing and validating security services across hardware platforms. You will serve as Security Manager for projects, responsible for security feature implementation throughout the product lifecycle. Job Responsibilities Conduct security reviews for new features, products, and technologies. Design, implement, and test security for HVAC connectivity systems (IoT devices, AWS cloud, mobile apps). Follow secure development lifecycle practices including threat modeling and security testing. Influence decision-makers and stakeholders to maintain high security standards. Lead security review engagements and remediation efforts. Create security documentation and guidance. Develop and deliver security training to development teams. Develop metrics to improve security outcomes. Identify and implement automatic detection techniques for security issues. Investigate security issues and automate detection/prevention where possible. Guide engineering teams on secure coding practices. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, cryptography, or related areas. Understanding of security engineering, network security, protocols, and application security. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in HVAC/Refrigeration industry is a plus. Advanced degree preferred. Experience collaborating on complex security projects. Knowledge of cryptography, web protocols, OS tools, virtualization, AWS, certifications like AWS Security. Familiarity with Bosch Security Engineering Process or similar. Soft Skills Ability to work with dispersed teams and diverse cultures. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
