Repserve is a leading provider of innovative sales and marketing solutions, specializing in helping businesses expand their reach and maximize their growth potential. Our client, a distinguished manufacturer specializing in the design and production of office seating solutions, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team while driving the company's expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence for the client’s office furniture and seating solutions.
Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in corporate offices, interior design firms, commercial spaces, and retail distributors.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners, distributors, and retailers to secure new business opportunities.
Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product positioning initiatives for the client’s offerings.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities within the office furniture industry.
Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on market developments, business opportunities, and challenges.
About Repserve
At Repserve, we lease sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, allowing firms to enter new markets or grow in existing ones. Our Reps have a maximum of 3 complimentary (never competing) clients. They answer all calls and emails at all times but manage their physical client time to suit the time allocation selected by the client.
This role is for an allocation of 50% of your time. Your day-to-day expenses will be covered (e.g., petrol, parking, tolls, mobile call charges, etc.). Larger expenses such as international travel, hotels, and large group entertainment should be approved by your client prior to incurring. Your client will be encouraged to pay a sales commission based on performance, with the structure to be discussed and agreed upon.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in the office furniture or interior design industry in Chicago, USA.
Fearlessness in pursuit of new business opportunities.
Extensive network of relevant and active contacts within the industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and formulate effective business strategies.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as required.
Must have skills: B2B, Communication.
