Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Overview: DSA seeks a Policy & Research Analyst to track policy developments, conduct original research, and author thought leadership in support of the organization’s mission. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for shaping emerging technology policy. Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative activity relevant to stablecoins and blockchain; Write memos, issue briefs, and policy explainers for stakeholders; Contribute to white papers and public comment letters; Support preparation for Hill meetings and public education events; Collaborate with the Learning Manager to ensure research informs educational programming; Represent the organization at industry conferences, potentially as a speaker resource. Qualifications: 3–6 years of experience in a think tank, on Capitol Hill, or at a policy-focused nonprofit; Exceptional writing and research skills; Understanding of crypto policy, digital finance, and/or financial regulation preferred.
