Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Retention Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of our email, SMS, and subscription marketing initiatives with our Retention Marketing Strategist and agency partners. This role will work closely with the Retention Marketing Strategist to coordinate campaign calendars, ensure flawless execution, and track performance across key retention channels. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and data-curious, with a strong understanding of customer journeys and subscription-based e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities
Email & SMS Campaign Management
Build, QA, and schedule weekly email and SMS campaigns using Klaviyo and Postscript (or similar tools).
Coordinate the collection of creative assets, product info, and copy for each campaign.
Maintain and update campaign calendars, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
Lifecycle & Subscription Marketing Support
Assist in the setup and optimization of automated flows, including welcome, replenishment, subscription onboarding, winback, and post-purchase.
Collaborate with the strategist to implement strategies that reduce churn, increase retention, and drive subscription growth.
Monitor subscription engagement metrics and identify opportunities to improve key touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Project Coordination
Serve as the point person to gather campaign inputs from design, copywriting, customer support, and inventory planning.
Support campaign planning and execution around promotions, new launches, education moments, and seasonal events.
Maintain clear documentation and trackers for all campaign activities.
Reporting & Insights
Pull weekly reports for email/SMS performance, highlighting trends, wins, and areas for improvement.
Assist with A/B testing (subject lines, CTAs, content blocks) and track learnings.
Help build performance recaps for key initiatives, promotions, and subscription-focused campaigns.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce or consumer goods.
Must have hands-on experience supporting a subscription program , including onboarding flows, upsell/cross-sell strategies, and churn mitigation.
Proficient in email/SMS platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive); experience with Stay AI is a plus.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to campaign accuracy and QA.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and contribute to strategy.
Excellent written communication skills with a strong sense of brand voice.
Passion for beauty, wellness, and purpose-driven brands is strongly preferred.
