Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled FANUC Robot Programmer with expertise in vision systems for a 3-4 month contract. This immediate-start role focuses on developing, testing, and deploying robot programs using FANUC systems, with a specific emphasis on enhancing production efficiency and precision. Responsibilities
Develop and test robot programs using FANUC systems. Simulate robotic operations using Roboguide software. Integrate and calibrate vision systems into robotic workflows. Troubleshoot and support the commissioning of robotic cells. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize tooling and automation. Document programming logic and system configurations. Essential Skills
Proficiency in FANUC Robot Programming. Extensive experience with Roboguide simulation software. Hands-on experience with robotic vision systems, including camera setup and calibration. Experience with robotic end-of-arm tooling and auto tool change systems. Ability to support commissioning and troubleshooting locally and potentially on-site. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with fastening systems beneficial for robotic assembly projects. Readiness for occasional travel, less than 25%, for on-site commissioning. Experience in project-based contracting for quick onboarding and delivery. Work Environment
This role is set in a high-paced, hands-on environment focused on custom automation and engineering solutions. The position is 100% on-site in Decatur, IL, within a team known for its fabrication expertise and collaborative project execution. The work culture emphasizes clear communication, ownership of responsibilities, and technical precision. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $47.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
