Kinetic Automation is building a network of automated repair centers for modern vehicles. The auto industry is transitioning to vehicles which are much simpler mechanically, but have much more complex software, sensors, and technology. Kinetic aims to be the primary infrastructure-as-a-service for servicing these future vehicles with our robotic repair centers, powered by our proprietary software and AI. We are a strong team of experienced robotics + automotive + shared mobility enthusiasts who have worked in self-driving, robotics, mapping, lidar, and motorsport. We are a venture backed startup (Series B) with a clear go-to-market strategy and meaningful revenue.
Job Duties
You'll be key to supporting deployed products and driving new product development. The role includes customer interaction, remote and on-site support, rigorous pre-shipment testing, and leading training so teams can operate and maintain the robot confidently.

Experience and Skills Required
Ideally have a BS in Robotics, CS, ME, or EE. However, we are happy to talk to candidates that have equivalent engineering or application level support experience Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide both remote and on-site technical support Excellent communication skills, with experience in documenting processes, training materials, and customer support cases Basic scripting (e.g., Python or shell), version control, and issue tracking
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, commission, and validate robotics cells at customer sites Run health checks and structured diagnostics; create concise runbooks Triage software/hardware/process issues; perform safe recovery and root cause analysis Conduct stress tests and field validation to confirm operational effectiveness in various conditions Develop and improve fleet management tools for scalable robotic operations and diagnostics Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and customer interactions Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer success teams to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction
