Details: Job Title: Digital Asset & Data Systems Specialist Location: Texas City. TX Type: Long Term Contract Overview: We are seeking a Digital Asset & Data Systems Specialist to support and enhance our refinery's technical data infrastructure. This dynamic role combines responsibilities in data management, automation, SharePoint development, and digital twin support—making it a perfect fit for a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in asset-intensive environments. Key Responsibilities: Tag & Technical Data Management Develop, maintain, and operate the Tag Reservation database. Ensure compliance with naming conventions and manage tag availability. Integrate tagging systems with APM, SAP, SI, OpenText, PSPPM, and other refining data systems. Coordinate data standards across multiple departments (Process Control, Fire Team, Lab, Relief Systems). Metadata & Document Management Operate and enhance OpenText metadata loaders to optimize document searchability. Establish and maintain accurate tag metadata based on SAP, SI, and reservation databases. Support document migration, metadata updates, and librarian tasks across systems. Automation & Digital Workflow Development Create advanced workflow automations using PowerAutomate and other tools. Develop PowerApps and AI models to streamline routine department processes. Support and continuously improve the Information Management Service Request Application. Engineering SharePoint Support Design and maintain SharePoint pages, lists, libraries, and manage user access. Ensure information architecture supports easy navigation and accurate document retrieval. Digital Twin Platform Support Assist in developing and maintaining a digital twin of the refinery. Integrate local data sources and documentation to enrich digital asset modeling. Collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and usability. Continuous Improvement & Support Tasks Enhance data accessibility across RED, SI, SAP, OpenText, and ePSI. Automate repetitive tasks for engineering and major project teams. Support ArcGIS integrations and related workflow automation. Contribute to data standardization and digital transformation initiatives. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; degree in Engineering, IT, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience supporting data systems in a refinery or heavy industrial environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Office Suite. Working knowledge of relational databases and scripting (SQL, PowerShell, VBA, PowerAutomate). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Detail-oriented and collaborative team player with a mindset for innovation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
