Role: SDET Engineer
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid 3 days a week from client location 2 days remote)
Job type: Contract
Description - Test Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools. Test Case Design: Create and execute test cases to validate software functionality and identify defects. Code Development: Write code to automate testing processes, potentially contributing to the main codebase. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and scalability tests to ensure the software can handle expected loads. Security Testing: Identify and address security vulnerabilities in the software. Bug Reporting: Report and track software defects, working with developers to resolve them. Technical Communication: Communicate technical information effectively to various stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and tools.
Skills Required for an SDET : Strong programming skills in languages like Java Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Understanding of software testing principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
