Timmons Group seeks an experienced Utility Network GIS Project Manager to lead projects, coordinate resources, and ensure high-quality results for clients. Responsibilities:
Provide project leadership and foster a collaborative team environment. Interact with customers to understand business requirements and with the project team to determine scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables. Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of plans and proposals. Maintain expertise in current technologies, systems, and process development methods. Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders. Manage project status reporting internally and externally. Lead projects from proposal to delivery. Travel frequently to client locations for onsite meetings. Manage GIS sub-consultant work. Oversee risk, change, and quality management activities. Invoice projects and provide financial projections. Respond professionally to customer inquiries. Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in GIS or technical project management, or equivalent. Effective communication with all stakeholder levels. Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills. Experience preparing reports and recommendations. Ability to adapt project management practices. Ability to explain complex technical info to non-technical audiences. Familiarity with GIS concepts, practices, and procedures. Preferred:
PMP Certification or ability to obtain it. Experience with consulting firms. Employment Details:
