Program Overview Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period. About The Role Peraton requires a PKI Administrator to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad. The purpose of the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); support systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and device support; manage configurations, changes, licenses, and assets; conduct training; and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) services. These responsibilities are vital to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and end-users operating globally 24/7/365. PKI (client token)/LRA Support requires detailed PKI knowledge to provide Local Registration Authority (LRA) services. This role involves full-spectrum token and certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation, operating a PKI and help desk to support users, developing PKI policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with DoD PKI directives. Typical duties include: Performing Tier one and two PKI support. Troubleshooting PKI-related client-server issues, middleware applications, and configurations. Acting as a PKI Trusted Agent, verifying identities, validating certificate requirements, and forwarding revocation requests. Supporting issuance and renewal of Smart Card tokens. Reporting on tokens issued, revoked, renewed, and issues encountered. Supporting engineering activities and transitioning products into operations. Applying PKI concepts, technologies, and best practices for certificate management, digital signatures, and encryption. Managing and maintaining PKI infrastructure, including key generation, certificate issuance and revocation, and certificate management. Collaborating with other administrators, engineers, and stakeholders in a team environment. Communicating technical information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Ensuring PKI infrastructure compliance with standards. Automating PKI processes using scripting and automation tools. Qualifications Minimum 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years with AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA, or 3 years with MS/MA. Experience with SIEM, log analysis, vulnerability analysis, and scripting. DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification. DoD TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary Range Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This is based on experience and other factors.
