DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled SMT Machine Operator/Set-Up for our 2nd shift to manage the setup, operation, and adjustment of surface mount pick-and-place machines. This role involves automated placement of surface mount components onto printed circuit boards, with some hand assembly tasks performed under a microscope.Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and adjust surface mount pick-and-place machines.Perform hand assembly of components under a microscope as needed.Follow written instructions, including routers and setup sheets, to ensure accurate machine operation.Maintain attention to detail, especially with part numbering schemes that may differ by a single digit.Operate machinery and handle some computer setup tasks.Function effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.Ensure reliability and maintain an excellent attendance record.Commit to working the designated second shift.Requirements:Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong attention to part numbering and assembly accuracy.Capability to follow written instructions and setup procedures.Comfortable working with machinery and performing some computer setup tasks.Previous manufacturing experience preferred.Highly dependable with a solid attendance record.Commitment to second shift hours.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in electronic manufacturing.Knowledge of component identification.Familiarity with soldering techniques.Additional Information:Position involves mostly standing with occasional lifting of up to 10-15 lbs.If you have experience with SMT machines and thrive in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
