Overview The Weapons Research Services - Weapons Mission Technology (WRS-WMT) group is seeking a skilled Software Developer to support mission-critical applications across the DOE complex, utilizing the OpenText Documentum suite, including D2 and Records Manager. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting applications, providing technical leadership, and mentoring within the team. Responsibilities Develop, support, and enhance internal software applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement software solutions. Research and recommend new features and emerging technologies. Provide technical direction and coordinate team activities. Troubleshoot, document, and train users on applications. Engage with vendors for support and software enhancements. Ensure security and safety compliance. Position Levels and Salary Software Developer 2: $85,900 - $139,900 Software Developer 3: $104,100 - $172,200 Qualifications Minimum requirements include proficiency with OpenText Documentum tools, experience with RDB design using Oracle, web development skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team. Higher level requires additional experience in leadership, mentoring, and advanced concepts. Education & Experience At Developer 2 level: Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent. At Developer 3: Bachelor's degree and 8 years related experience or equivalent, with postgraduate coursework optional. Desired Skills Experience with SSO, Apache Tomcat, Windows Servers. Active DOE Q-Clearance preferred. Additional Details This position is onsite in Los Alamos, NM, with a 1-year position commitment. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.
