The role involves supporting and upgrading critical agency applications, with potential to transition into a development leadership role. Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team to upgrade applications from MS Access ADP to ACCDB and from MS SQL Server 2008 to 2016 or higher. Contribute to defining the future technical path for the application portfolio. Maintain best practices for documentation and code management. Work with internal developers and service providers to ensure application stability and reliability. Assist in providing the best transformation experience for customers. Requirements Strong skills in MS Access and MS SQL Server application development and support, including end-user support. Effective communication and collaboration skills with IT peers and agency personnel. Experience supporting database migrations involving MS Access and MS SQL Server. Understanding of testing processes, especially user acceptance testing. Hands-on experience migrating legacy databases for on-premise and cloud environments. Commitment to customer service and ethical standards. Knowledge of MS SQL Server administration is a plus. Experience working with Agile methodologies. Experience eliciting business and functional requirements is a plus. Knowledge of cloud technologies like GitHub, Salesforce, Jira, SharePoint.
