Why This Role Matters
We're looking for a Product Designer to own the end-to-end design process - from problem discovery to polished UI. You'll work directly with the CEO and engineering team to turn complex workflows into intuitive, high-leverage tools. This is an opportunity to shape the product and design culture at a company solving a massive, underserved problem.
What You'll Do Lead design for core product initiatives across our capture, proposal and contract clouds Collaborate with engineering to define scope, user flows, and UX patterns Build and maintain a design system that balances speed with scalability Conduct user research with government contractors to validate assumptions and refine solutions Translate ambiguous problems into structured, elegant and simple interfaces Ship fast, iterate based on feedback, and own outcomes What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience designing B2B SaaS or workflow-heavy products Strong portfolio showing UX thinking, systems design, and visual polish Comfortable working in Figma and collaborating closely with engineers Bias toward action and clarity - can make decisions with incomplete information Experience in early-to-mid stage startups Bonus: familiarity with govtech, compliance, or AI/ML interfaces (not required) Why Join Us High ownership: You'll shape the product and user experience from the ground up Speed: We ship weekly and iterate fast Impact: Our customers are mission-critical businesses with real-world needs Culture: Transparent, ambitious, and execution-focused Equity: Meaningful ownership in a venture-backed company
