Title: UI/UX Designer
Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire
Location: 100% remote (with some visit to office if required)
Employment type: W2 Only
Visa: USC and GCs
HM Meeting Notes: • 6 month contract with the potential to extend • Fully remote; focusing on talent local to Marlborough office; may need to visit stores • Contract and contract to perm talent; but no work sponsorship in case things change down the road • No max on the number of resumes to shortlist
We're looking for a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer with strong mobile experience to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and user-centered mobile experiences on Android platforms. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure our mobile products meet the highest standards of usability and design while protecting the Client brand identity.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and iterate on mobile-first user experiences from concept to execution. • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and stakeholders. • Advocate for the user while balancing business goals and technical constraints. • Contribute to and help evolve our design system and mobile UI standards.
Qualifications (Requirements): • 5-10 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design. • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma • Solid understanding of mobile design principles, platform guidelines (Android Material Design), and responsive design. • Experience conducting user research and usability testing. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferences: • Familiarity with front-end development or working closely with developers. • Retail experience
