Job Title: SAP Procurement Functional Consultant.
Client: SAP America.
Employment Type: Contract .
Experience: 15+ Years.
Location: Dallas, TX.
Job Description:
SAP America is seeking a highly skilled SAP Procurement Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP procurement processes and modules, strong business acumen, and a proven track record in delivering successful SAP implementations or support engagements. This individual will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimizing procurement solutions to meet client business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements related to procurement processes (Source-to-Pay).
Configure and support SAP procurement modules such as SAP MM, SAP SRM, SAP Ariba, or SAP S/4HANA Procurement.
Design and implement procurement solutions that align with client objectives and industry best practices.
Facilitate workshops, lead client discussions, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, integrations, and interface requirements.
Develop functional specifications, test scripts, and training documentation.
Support project lifecycle phases including blueprinting, realization, testing, cutover, and go-live.
Provide post-go-live support and ensure smooth operations of procurement functions.
Stay current with SAP innovations and suggest improvements or upgrades as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
15+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on Procurement.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM (Materials Management) and/or SAP S/4HANA Procurement.
Experience with SAP Ariba, SRM, or integration between Ariba and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
In-depth understanding of procurement processes: purchasing, sourcing, contracts, supplier management, invoice verification, etc.
Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, or support projects.
Ability to create functional documentation, test cases, and training materials.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Skills:
SAP Certification in Procurement or S/4HANA.
Experience with Fiori apps related to procurement.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies or SAP Activate methodology.
Prior experience working with clients in manufacturing, retail, or public sector industries. Seniority level
