Osmo is seeking a Procurement Specialist
who will support with the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and components with the goal of ensuring a stable and cost-effective supply chain. A deep understanding of the fragrance industry, its unique suppliers, and the specific requirements for fragrance compounds and packaging is important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities Sourcing & Inventory Management: Serve as a point-of-contact with currently established approved suppliers. Create and manage purchase orders, track their status, and ensure on-time delivery of all materials to support the production schedule. Support in RFx event preparation, execution and analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support coordinate with internal teams to forecast operational procurement needs and maintain inventory levels, ensuring we have sufficient stock without incurring excessive holding costs. Support with data collection and maintaining data integrity that comes from procurement activities.
Supplier Management & Compliance: Support regular supplier assessments. Support to ensure all purchased materials comply with warehousing, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency Microsoft Suite Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to details and efficient prioritization skills. A minimum of 1 year of experience in the procurement function. Ways to stand out
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using NetSuite. Experience in the fragrance industry, good understanding industry's complexity and in Procurement impacts.
