Base pay range
$55.00/hr - $79.00/hr Job Description : Insight Global is seeking a mid to senior level Secret Cleared Network Engineer to support a large government customer in San Diego, CA. This person will be actively supporting a classified network infrastructure. This person will be designing, configuring, and sustaining the network design and security. Candidates should have experience with TCP/IP fundamentals, routing and switching protocols, and firewall configurations. The ideal candidate will come from a cyber security background and have experience with commercial networking products (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto) on an enterprise network. An active secret clearance is required to start and candidates must be eligible for a SAP clearance. This is a fulltime work opportunity that will work in a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) in North County San Diego. Requirements: Active Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer on a classified network Bachelors or Masters Degree Expertise in TCP/IP fundamentals, routing and switching protocols, network design, firewalls, and virtualization Experience configuring and managing firewalls, rule creation, log analysis, and network security concepts. Provide technical support and wireless networking solutions Experience working in a collaborative and dynamic environment Nice to Have: Professional certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, Juniper certifications, Palo Alto certifications, etc.) Seniority level
