Help achieve compliance by identifying compliance initiatives and promoting appropriate security policies.
Lead the exploration of practical security solutions to address emerging threats and compliance requirements, including design and implementation of recommended solutions.
Develop and implement security programs: manage project deliverables, communicate with stakeholders, develop procedures, and create tools or metrics for measuring success.
Maintain communication with peers and security contacts across the organization and subsidiaries.
Survey clients to determine communication methods, deliver security awareness solutions, and disseminate information on security controls and risks.
Assess and measure security programs to ensure effective operations, seek opportunities for maturity, and deliver innovative solutions for efficiency.
Utilize tools and develop metrics to measure program success.
Perform additional duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience required:
3 years configuring, managing, and maintaining security event monitoring and logging within Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Protection, including configuration, monitoring, and threat response.
Experience with security operations, incident detection, and response using Microsoft 365 Defender and related technologies.
1 year of experience automating security workflows and integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Position reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, with options for telecommuting within the U.S.
