As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to any security-related concerns, and work collaboratively with your team. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points at the location. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed. Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents and daily activities. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
